the case and an understanding of the law, a client cannot
make appropriate decisions and/or life choices. I listen to
the client so as to learn of his or her concerns. I consider
these concerns in working with the client to formulate a
strategy for the case. I try to reach consensus on the case
strategy before implementing it.
I recognize that the outcome of the individual case will
have an impact on the life or business of the client. I
recognize that communication between attorney and client is
crucial. An inability to reach his or her attorney is
upsetting to a client. I return telephone calls as soon as
possible. I inform the client of developments in his or her
case through reports or telephone calls. |
